Haribol. Thanks for viewing my profile. I am Nitin from Fiji Islands. I am not a trained devotee, I do not know how krishna was born..I do not know anything about him...I do not know about his priye ( radha raniji) i dont know what mantras to pray with or how to...i dont know how to chant and with what mantra but i do have a tulsi mala..... I wasnt even krishna conscious until 10th November 2009 i had a feeling or a great desire to pray to radhe krishna...it was as if i was being attracted with great magnetic forces......i decided to give it a go and from that day i started to gain as much knowledge as possible ...thought i am not aware on how to pray...but I have hope...lots and lot of hope...I know i am young but i want to build a radhe krishna mandir at my home with the money i collect by working.....it wont be that big but it will be like all radhe krishna mandirs.....i have even decided to quit meat etc and be vegetarian...But I am afraid of other devotees....when i vist radhe krishna temples in fiji ...there are only two in the area i live...the biggest in fiji is SRI SRI RADHA GOLOKABIHARI temple which is a three hours drive from my home and the other is KRISHNA KALIYA temple which is a 15 mins drive from my house, I feel scared as i do not know how to pray in temples...i really get attracted to deities with there shringhars,garlands etc.....but i am also a shy person.....so its hard for me to alk to other devotees there....so i hurry with my prayers and leave the temple as quick as possible.....sometimes questions arise in my minds after visiting temples like, why we cant offfer ur own prayers and why there are bars stopping us from touching the deities....i am still unaware ....and have hopes that i will be informed about it from other devotees here...Due to my strong liking towards god...i have decided to built a temple at my home ......as i like dressing deities ...i will also dress them but in fiji they do not sell clothes for radhe krishna etc it is very hard to find in the shop they do sell...... they also do not sell any other deities apart from radhe krishna ......they do not sell gaura nitai ,,, balaji etc ...its either you go to india and buy it or print pictures out....so i guess my stories wont end but let me tell you a little about my background

I come from a non religious but religious family...In my family we only pray to shiv shankar, shree ganesh, maa parvati, laxmi narayan, vishnu priya, sita ram lakshman hanuman, and maa durga. we are not supposed to pray to maa durga but i do ...... and no one in our family prays to lord krishna except me.... so its very difficult for me to make my dreams and wishes come true ......i hope to seek help from other devotess...like getting idols frm other countries and clothes , necklaces etc for gods. In my family there are no heads my father past away when i was 12 . its only my mum and i left... but i will by next year build a hare krishna temple at my home and i hope with all your blessings and prayers i will be able to do so..... in this krishna society i look forward to make lots and lots of friends, knowledge about lord radhe krishna,, how to pray to them etc ...and lots and lots of help with the deities and their clothes...so thanks for reading my life story......Jai Shree Krishna
