Have you read the Lilamrita books written by Satsvarupa Das Goswami? He writes the entire story of the life of Srila Prabhupad, and there is so much in there about the experiences he had with Prabhupad (as well as other devotees experiences). He spent a tremendous amount of personal time with Srila Prabhupad.
You might like to read those books if you have not already.
