Hi, I'm a middle-aged woman who is beginning her second round in life. The kids have grown and moved on and I'm an empty nester. Yeah for me!!! Seriously! After being a single parent for about 23 years, you can believe I'm ready for a break and to re-find myself.

I'll make a long story short here and get to the point. A few years ago while on a weekend vacation in Little Rock, we stumbled across this neat little bookstore and in there I found a book ... Stephen's Knapp's "Secret Teachings of the Vedas" ... I read and read and read that book. Studied it even. FASCINATING! I've read so much more since then and am starting to get more serious about my spiritual progress. ... And this is the perfect time. After all, I'm an empty-nester, remember?

This may be my most frequent means of associating with other devotees. So, I hope to meet a lot of you at least here on the forum.

Dear Jane,
It was something (beyond our logical world of materials) which led you to that book. It is something beyond our comprehension that you could get connected immediately with it. How do we define this ? Is there any logic beyond what we think ? May be ! More knowledge assimilation through books, this kind of forums, discourses and spiritual teachers will help understand the inner world more. May be the answers lie there. No harm in moving towards a complete knowledge. We all are the passengers through the same journey.
