My name is Becky. I am 25 years old and I live in Cleveland Ohio. My parents are divorced. Actually my mother had divorced twice. I had a rough childhood. It wasn't always happy. I had very little friends when I was in school because I was always one of the kids who got severly bullied and teased because I was different. But now I look back on it and realized that they were just being ignorant and they had nothing better to do with their time.
As I got older I had discoverd a music band called The Beatles. As I learned about all four of them I discovered that one member of the band, George Harrison would be my favorite. I read that he is just like me, very quiet, doesn't like popularity and was more open to spirituality and life. I have discoverd KC through George. And now I want to exeperience KC. I'm not going to experience it just because he had done it, I just want to do this for me so I can be happier and broaden my horizons. I'm not afraid to try and learn more about KC. My family doesn't like me going into it because they believe it's a cult. I however do NOT believe that at all. They are just afraid to try something new. I will have to pray that the Lord will open their eyes and hearts to see why I want to follow KC.
My main goal right now is to meet Krishna devotees and one day meet a spiritual master. One of my friends on a message board told me about his Guru Bhaktimarga Swami and I hope to meet him one day! I know I will probably have a whole bunch of questions to ask him!
In the mean time I will find other ways to serve the Lord. I want to surrender unto Him!
