You are fortunate to understand the Universality of Spirit. Religious forms are only as good as they deliver the Spiritual Substance beyond the material veil. Religion colors our vision with a Godly brush, but that is still materially motivated and self-centered, and spirituality is about pure, loving service to God and his children without any selfishness. Of course it is a gradually uncovering of our soul with many tests on the road.
For those who go beyond the externals or practices of religion, in every scripture they see their Lord manifest and in fact the whole world speaks to them! I am sure you have read Prabhupada's words concerning Christ and Krishna. I never understood or appreciated Christianity until I heard from Prabhupada and read the Gita, Bhagavatam and other Vaishnava texts. Of course even these teachings can be fundamentally understood and thereby limited, and it has only been in the last 8 years that my understanding of KC has gone to a much deeper, broader level.
