Jai RadheKrishna,

Birth of Lord Krishna

Vishnu incarnated with very wonderful lotuslike eyes and bore in His four hands the four weapons sankha, cakra, gada and padma (conchshell, club, disc and lotus flower). On His chest was the mark of Srivatsa and on His neck the brilliant Kaustubha gem. Dressed in yellow, His body blackish like a dense cloud, His scattered hair fully grown, and His helmet and earrings sparkling uncommonly with the valuable gem Vaidurya, the child, decorated with a brilliant belt, armlets, bangles and other ornaments, appeared very wonderful.

Jai RadheKrishna,

The definition of a pure devotee, as given by Rupa Gosvami in Bhaktirasamrta-sindhu, can be summarized as: his service is favorable and is always in relation to Krsna. The symbol of devotional service in the highest degree is Radharani. Krsna is called Madanamohana, which means that He is so attractive that He can defeat the attraction of thousands of Cupids. But Radharani is still more attractive, for She can even attract Krsna. Therefore devotees call Her Madana-mohana-mohini--the attractor of the attractor of Cupid. To perform devotional service means to follow in the footsteps of Radharani, and devotees in Vrndavana put themselves under the care of Radharani in order to achieve perfection in their devotional service.

Jai RadheKrishna,

Three "stages" of chanting: nama-aparadha, nama-abhasa, suddha-nama.

1.Nama-aparadha - Offensive chanting of the holy name, or chanting of the holy name which is subject to the ten kinds of nama-aparadha.
2.Namabhasa - The stage of chanting in which one is becoming cleared of sins and offenses but has not yet attained pure chanting. By serving the spiritual master with full attention while chanting namabhasa, one gradually rises to the platform of suddha-nama...
3.suddha-nama - This is the pure stage of chanting where Krsna fully reveals Himself. A devotee who chants suddha-nama observes Krsna appearing personally on his tongue. As an effect of this chanting, he is bestowed pure love of God. Suddha-nama can be achieved by taking nama with a favorable attitude, while remaining free from all material desire, and from coverings of jnana, karma and so on. One will not receive suddha-nama as long as he still desires the fruits of performing jnana, karma, yoga and so on.

Jai RadheKrishna,

Surrender to God

Surrender means to yield ownership, to relinquish control over what we consider ours: our property, our time, our "rights." When we surrender to God, we are simply acknowledging that what we "own" actually belongs to Him. He is the giver of all good things. We are responsible to care for what God has given us, as stewards of His property, but by surrendering to God, we admit that He is ultimately in control of everything, including our present circumstances. Surrendering to God helps us to let go of whatever has been holding us back from God's best for our lives.

Jai RadheKrishna,
How are you? Hows your photography going on? I really like being associated with you. So, Keep in touch.

Translation

Krishna is the lover of Radha. He displays many amorous pastimes in the groves of Vrindavana, He is the lover of the cowherd maidens of Vraja, the holder of the great hill named Govardhana, the beloved son of Mother Yashoda, the delighter of the inhabitants of Vraja, and He wanders in the forests along the banks of the River Yamuna.
