I am glad that you have found happiness in Kṛṣṇa consciousness. It doesn't matter when one starts developing love for the Lord, what matters is that one starts. Prema is most important.
When you were younger it was Maya that kept you away, because that is what happens to most people. The grip of Maya gets too strong to escape it, so they let themselves be enveloped by it. Fortunate are those who find their way out of Maya, or at least find the road that leads out of it.
So my brother, it brings joy to my heart to hear that you are happy and feeling love for Kṛṣṇa. I pray that you will be persistent in your spiritual journey, and that you will fight off the attacks that Maya sends your way.
