It was great to stumble on your page and read your story.
I was writing to a friend yesterday and had the thought, Prabhupada's teachings are the ultimate of romantic movements. I mean I was considering people like Goethe and their romantic feeling, but our relationship with Krishna, the master of all mysticis, is the real romantic relationship in this life. And Prabhupada's teachings are the perfect vehicle for re-establishing that relationship.

When I first came to Krishna Consciousness, I experienced something devotees often refer to - Krishna often gives neophyte devotees a large taste of rasa, or transcendental bliss, just to give them a taste and give them a jump in awakening their Krishna consciousness. I hope you get something like this too, because a small, genuine glimpse of the spiritual world is really great.

There is a great verse in Sri Isopanisad which states, "He who sees the Supreme Lord in everything and everything in the Supreme Lord never hates any livng being." A friend and mentor, Jivananda, explained it to me something like this when I was first coming to temple. There are some correc things in many religions, such as Buddhism, etc., but Krishna consciousness is the perfect path; it aims directly to the final source, a reconnection with Krishna. He Other paths can aim you partly in the right direction, but Krishna consciousness knows the exact location of the utimate goal. And then finally if you begin a very long journey, though your aim is only slightly off, a slight misdirection from your desired goal will end up leaving you far from it; as the difference increases as time goes by.
