Hello My name is Sid. I am new to Krishna Consciousness, but not new to God Consciousness.( one in the same) Whichever label you prefer. I found my way here through a long process involving "Ego Death", Spiritual realizations , and talks with devotees. This came to pass by way of changing my consciousness using entheogens, mainly LSD, and psycilocibin. These substances work for opening the nervous system and allowing you to step outside your normal ego functioning to elevate your consciousness, but only temporarily. ( a month at the most) Then of the course the societal pressures, the conditioned ego etc.. begin to creep back in. Problems of the material world.
I no longer wish to use foreign substances to elevate my consciousness ( or be tuned in) and liberate the ego thus why I am here, and I have had very good results from chanting the MahaMantra. I am here to meet new and interesting people. As well as (most importantly) learn all I can learn about Krishna Consciousness.
