About me

My name is Vrindavana Chandra, I'm 18 years old, and I would love to become friends with other devotees. I don't have a computer at home, so if you write to me, it might take a little while before I respond. I'll do it as soon as I'm able to, though :) Hare Krishna!

Hare Krsna,

Been a long time. Hope everything is going fine by the mercy of Krishna. Seems like you busy with school. How is your service to Krishna going on?

Keep in touch.

Hare Krsna!

It was a really good experience. It was tough in the initial stages. It was very tough to cope up with things around. But as the days progressed.... it was really exciting.... felt a little bad though that the austere got over.....

Getting back to what I was doing is really tough. Feeling a little difficult to move on with my regular life. I don't feel happy doing what am doing. Under the shelter of God things were fine. But now things seem to be back to normal. If you've ever heard of something called Black magic, thought will let you know that someone has used it on me and feeling very tough to get away from it.

God Bless

Take care

Thank you!

Hare Krsna!

Nothing fun. Let me tell you more in detail. I had been to Ayyappa temple. Ayyappa is the son of Hari Hara i.e., Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva. The temple in the state of Kerala, India. Its located in the western ghats. To reach the temple you need to walk up the hill from a river called Pamba. Its around 7-8kms from the river. No proper road. Its a walk through the forest. Its a 40 days austere. No wearing slippers, no entertainment, sleeping on the floor, one meal a day, no hanging out with friends. These are the things that have to be followed. Its just God and you all the time. Its as good as penance. But one glitch is its not for ladies. Anyone b/w the age of 10-50 cannot come to the temple. Thats what the vedic scriptures say and we follow. :-)

It was a very good experience. Experienced reality in life. Would like to go there again.

This saturday and sunday am planning to be at ISKCON. Nothing else. Trying very hard to live. Thats the only place I will find peace.

God Bless

Take care
