The first thing you may have notice is the image of Lord Narasimadev’s image. This is a tattoo worn as a reminder and for protection. I have a strong belief in using my body as a constant reminder of Krishna's impact in my life. I wear the Maha Mantra on my forearms so that every time I look down, I am reminded of the transcendental joy it brings to ones life.
Currently I reside in Seattle, WA and have only recently begun to connect with the temple and ISKCON after an extended absence. As a living tribute to this faith, I never stopped chanting or driving down the road with a kirtan blasting from my car windows (which definitely can get some looks at a stoplight). As I'm getting older and life starts to change, I realize the need to re-associate and develop relationships with devotees.
I've been in and around ISKCON most of my adult life, starting out in St. Louis (around the mid 80s), then off to San Francisco (Carl Street and Berkeley), San Diego for many years where I made one last (hopefully) move and ended up here in Seattle. It may not always show, but my spiritual side of life is very alive and eager to restart associations again. I've been away for a while (man years), and while sure I'll have to wear a white dhoti to temple, its been so long I can only hope I still remember how to put one one. I may desire spiritual growth, but I do have a sense of humor in life.
Hare Krishna and Haribol to you!
I am honored that you have stopped at my profile.
