Hare Krishna!
I’d consider myself a Sufi or what my friends say, “Sushi”. I grew up in a non-religious household and at the age of 13, I became a Christian. Not too long after, I wanted to become Jewish. At the age of 17, I became a Muslim and started wearing the veil. I’d like to say that “ijtihad” (independent reasoning, critical thinking) is my prose. I enjoy intellectual/spiritual talks, poetry, and music. I’ve visited an Ahmadi Muslim mosque, Bahai House of Worship in Illinois, and the Hare Krishna temple a few times in Boston. It’s like I’ve been searching for different aspects of Krishna or the personal Godhead. Due to many factors in the past year, my faith has changed and I hardly have stability. I hope to improve someday soon =) Sometimes, I chant Hare Krishna, Om Mani Padme Hum, and even Hail Mary… I see truth in it all. Anyways, hope we can become good friends and I wish you all the best!
