Hare Krishna! My name is Dhani and I am a gurukuli living in Alachua, Florida. I am fortunate enough to live only 10 minutes away from the New Raman Reti Dham temple and our beautiful deities. I am currently attending the University of Florida enrolled in a program called Proteach where I am working on my Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education. I can't wait to be a teacher one day! :)
I joined the wonderful team of devotees at Krishna.com about a month ago and I love this service. It is such a nice opportunity to meet people from all over the world and speak about Krishna and help others. I feel very fortunate.
When I am not in school or working (well, there is little time for much else!) I like to go to the temple, see Radhe Shyamasundar and dance in the kirtan. I also like spending time with my friends and family, being outdoors (swimming, hiking, canoeing, playing sports...almost anything really), reading, listening to music, and tutoring. Once a week, I tutor a 4th grader in math and writing. He is opening up to me so much and our tutoring times together are so much fun.
