"O Surpreme Lord, You are actually the air, the earth, fire, sky, and water. You are the objects of sense perception, the life airs, the five senses, the mind, consciousness, and false ego. Indeed, You are everything, subtle and gross. The material elements and anything expressed, either by the words or by the mind, are nothing but You."
(Srimad-Bhagavatam 7.9.48)

dear Lord, i chant your holy names
that You may dance on my tongue
like you danced on the hoods of Kaliya
and subdue my rascal mind and false ego
that i may offer proper respects to you.

wow, Krishna turned me into a cow! i'm so excited!
before breaking fast the morning after ekadashi, i asked the Lord if He would please accept my humble offerings of potatoes and green beans and pistachios. while laughing and playing with His cowherd friends, He suddenly swooped upon me and tasted some, saying, "of course, silly!" emotionally overcome, i wanted to bury my head in His chest and wanted Him to hold me. upon which He laughed, and turned me into a calf...who happily ran off with Him. as if to point out just how much He loves His cows.
what a wonderful way to be with Him^^
