Often logicians think they are smart enough to offer arguments to defeat thedevotees’ faith in God.There is nothing wrong in being a logician, but our logic should lead us to understanding the ultimate truth and attaining the goal of life.
There is an interesting story of a logician who saw that a farmer had put a bellaround the neck of a bull who went round and round to extract oil from sesame seeds. The logician asked the farmer, “What is the purpose of this bell sir? You could have avoided it. It makes so much noise.” The farmer said, “While bull does his work, I do my household work. I’ve put the bell on his neck to make sure that he keeps moving around, while I do my other activities. Simply from the sould of that bell, I can be sure that the bull is at work. I don’t have to waste my time sitting near him all day.” The logician asked, “What if the bull stands at one place and keeps nodding his head making sound, but not doing any work?” The famer said, “He is not a logician like you to do such a thing!”
