Krishna appeared in 3227 BC

Krishna descended 5236 years ago in 3227 BC. Krishna spent 125 years on Earth and then departed back to his abode on February 18, 3102 BC, which was 5,111 years ago. This was the start of Kali-Yuga. Most people say Krishna appeared about 5,000 years ago. While I understand that this is an estimation, when do you think this figure should be updated? I mean how long will it be said that Krishna appeared 5,000 years ago. If Krishna appeared 5,236 years ago couldn’t be said that Krishna appeared over 5,200 years ago or over 52 centuries ago. In all other religions such as Christianity and Islam the appearance of their central figure is always estimated within 100 years time. For example Christ was born in 4 BC and that is about 2,000 years ago, and Muhammad was born in 570 AD and that was about 1,400 years ago, and Krishna descended in 3,227BC so instead of 5,000 years it should be rounded to 5,200 years. Does this make any sense? Could the date of Krishna’s appearance be rounded to 5,200 years since he descended 5,236 years ago? It just seems to make more sense that this updated. It is a well established fact that Shrilla Prabhuphda states Krishna stayed on the Earth for 125 years and departed at the start of Kali-Yuga on Feburary 18, 3102 BC, knowing this we know Krishna descended in 3,227 BC, so can the 5,000 year figure be updated? If not when can it be updated on the site? Just wondering as 5,000 years would indicate that Krishna descended about 2090 BC, but in actuality he descended about 236 years before than 3,227 BC. I know this not a big deal or anything but I always wondered about this because 5,000 years after Krishna appeared on Earth was 1773, about 3 years before America became a nation.

Very interesting information

I think there is a case for updating the way we refer to the dates for these things
