My mother is a devotee of Sri Chinmoy, i am learning about Krishna.
My mother says that she feels Sri Chinmoy smile upon my fondness for Krishna. Sri Chinmoy has written lovely poems about Him.
My mother gave me sari (that she had worn to her Sri Chinmoy center) to wear to my local ISKCON temple, and last night i had a dream that i was at the ISKCON temple with Sri Chinmoy, and i was offering petals to him and Krishna.
i have not been a devotee of Sri Chinmoy before but i would like to think that he is a friend of Krishna
Big Influence
Sri Chinmoy was quite the musician and poet, and inspired, and was a big influence on many musicians like John McLaughlin - founder of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Carlos Santana and many others.
I have a recording by a McLaughlin and Santana project named:
'Love, Devotion And Surrender' featuring a John Coltrane song 'A Love Supreme' (awesome song), Coltrane had connections with Chinmoy also.
This is all the obvious influence of Chinmoy!
