This is something i have been thinking of almost since i joined.

What happens to the guestbooks 5 or 10 years from now ?
We are generally reluctant to delete our friends' lovely msgs. Many of us have 15-20 pages already. Its sometimes hard to decide what to keep and delete - except for some back-n-forth conversations i suppose.

Guestbooks show newcomers how devotees associate and interact.
They are also memories.

However, i wonder what will happen to the server space when no. of users and guestbooks grow.

Should we purge our guestbooks every now and then ? In that case, does the forum software provide a way of archiving the books (fully of partially) to be stored offline , on one's personal disk ?
