I didn't know where to put this topic, so I am placing it here.

Trying to find things via the search function here can be quite difficult.

There is no "search posts by user" or "search threads by user" function.

For example, I might remember that a poster said something interesting about something, but I don't remember in which thread, nor the exact keywords. Trying to find that then can be quite difficult, or sometimes impossible. A "search posts by user" would help here greatly.
Or if I wish to revisit my old threads, I can't do that easily, or not at all.
Also, when trying to get to know a poster a bit better, knowing their views would help greatly in communicating with them.
And of course, there are prominent posters whose posts I am eager to read - yet can't easily find them.
