More casual

I think there should be one little box on the side with some fun facts on Krishna, Prabhupada, Mahaprabhu and all! It should refresh along with the page. I really do agree that Krishna.com's home page is too formal and should be more friendly. First of all I notice that every time there is something new like a Prabhupada video it doesn't go on the top of the "What's new section" but instead below something else old and this should not happen. The "What's New" section is amazing but again it is too formal. Perhaps dividing the page into three columns will help, one for the new beginners, second for the devotees starting to practice it (here you can include the Vaisnava manuals and deity worship at home and teach them more about Prabhupada) and the third, a section for general devotees who already learned the basics (here you can include japa wokshops, recommend items on krishna.com store and more tips on deity worship and daily vaisnava life). Also please include one video on the beginners section explaining to them about ISKCON, the temples, philosophy, deity worship, books, prabhupada and so on. Include from the time Prabhupada arrived in America until 2009 but make just make it like a past, present, future kind of video of about 5 mins. for the future add the latest news about the Mayapur project. To make Krishna.com more casual, put more pictures of Krishna and put in more colors which are soft or pastel but bright (www.iskcon-london.org got brilliant colors and I love that Panca Tattva on the top!). the language on Krishna.com is amazing and it's really smooth... You guys really make the guests think and reflect.

Thinking back to when i

Thinking back to when i first started going to temple, I think maybe it would be good to have a first timers and new devotees section.

Maybe some very basic facts about krishna conciousness and some of our practises like chanting. And a quick 'what to expect at the temple'' and maybe basic vaishnava ettiquette list , why we are vegetarian/ wear saris/ tilak etc, and how to practise Krishna conciousness at home for people who have been to the temple a few more times ?

That kind of info would have really helped me - especially the first few times i went.

Thanks kimimela! :) I was just about to suggest that sort if "begginers" section. I know you have it all on the teachings (readings) section of krishna.com but still I think the title should be a little bit more clearer.

It's great!...

... but with an easier navigation, there's too many info. After visiting Krishna.com regulary you can handle it; but in the beginning there's too much information. The look could be more clean (in whites), and texts (in links, etc...) more obvious, more typographyc (simple with impact) I don't mean by taking info away, just a new structure, basic at the begining and specialized in some sections. A different, new, easy, legible, simple navigation.

Simple just the interface, but colorful in images, rich in audio, teachings, mails full of knowledge... mmhm! Krishna.com already got it! But the galeries with new navigation and huge images would like all devottes.
