Prabhuji,
I am a student residing in hostel of a private university. as per my knowledge Krishnaji in Bhagavad-Gita says that those who eat food otherthan prasad eat only sin.My problem is that food offered in our hostel's mess is not prasad.Therefore I am getting frustrated whenever I remember this.And the mess rascals don't listen to what I say.
What shall I do to overcome this situation?

Very nice.The very remembarance that this food is not offered to Sri Krishna purifies your conciousness. I have gone through similar situations while I was studying. Everytime I was somewhat in anxiety that I was eating food not offered to Krishna. What I just did was chant the holy names before accepting the karmi food. Dont know if this works. In helpless cases I think we should do that. Also I recommend keeping lots of fruits with you all the time and skip your dinner maybe. Because fruits you can offer. Are you chanting the Mahamantra regularly? Just pray to Sri Krishna and He will get you out of this situation very soon. Its just temporary. Haribol. --ys dasanudas.

The only solution seems to be for you to offer your food before you eat it. It is not always possible to offer your food with an opulant ceremony.
Pray to Krishna and offer the food to him with love and devotion.
