Hare Krishna

I will make a section where we can post recipes then we might vote on the one that we make and discuss together. Let me just get this organised and then we will start.

At the moment put your name in the Members section I made. Those who have already put there name I will take care of moving it.

A Suggestion

Here's a suggestion for a format we can use for this group.

See what you think...

Members: this is where members register (only post your name).

Discussions: this is for any ongoing discussions about the group, what we want to make, ideas, thoughts, etc.

Recipes: this is for the recipes we are going to chose from before we vote.

Votes: this is where we can place our votes for what recipes to make.

Current Recipe: this is for the recipe we are currently making, and any talk about making it.

Final Recipes: this is for the recipes we have made and decided to keep.

(we may need more sections later, but this would get us started and organized)

I was thinking...

About something that we could prepare with the season's bounty from the Lord, something that I think He might really enjoy. I remembered a recent recipe in Vegetarian Magazine that I have been wanting to try 'cause it sounds very nice...

It's called Tomato-Peach Spritzer.

3-4 very ripe yellow or red tomatoes (about 1.5lbs), cored and quartered
2 large ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
1 1/2 tsp minced fresh ginger
2 cups of ginger ale

Put all ingredients in the blender or food processor until thoroughly mixed/emulsified. Strain out solid through sieve. Pour 1/6 of mixture in tall chilled glass over ice, then pour 1/3 cup over that. Serve with a garnish of fresh tomato chunk on a toothpick.

Offer to Krsna and Radha with love. Enjoy. Haribol!
