Dear Amarveda,
I think you should know
If it's rhymes that you want
I can make quite a show
However it's actually Krishna
Who I wish to please
And we know that devotion
Is all that He sees
Poetry is art
And there are many forms
Some types don't rhyme
Or follow the norms
Take Rajastani paintings
A good example for sure
They seem crude to some
Lacking dimension, realism and more
Still we see Krishna
If we are looking with love
There is nothing like devotion
To the God Above
So, I ask you sincerely
To think before you start
To make a critique
Of someone else's art
For while I don't mind
That my poem didn't please you
There might me someone else
Who would wish to appease you
Therefore they might fear
Your words of correction
And thus take their poem
In some other direction
It would be a shame
If we could not see
The art of these devotees
That there surely must be
For love of Krishna
Comes in all styles and colors
What seems like music to some
May not to others

A Big Round of Applause
While rhymes can be poetic
Poetry is not about rhymes
Its Art from the Heart
In shapes, rhythms and (varying) styles
Your Flute Player's Hand (and pinky finger)
Is still vivid in our minds
Thanks to His Love in your heart
That came flowing along the lines
The Beloved's pleasure is foremost in mind
When someone writes a poem to the Divine
Poems to Him can even be as simple as this -
He Hrishikesha ! I do not know how to be
Therefore I surrender myself unto Thee
K r i s h n a l i
Love, Love.
Simply
Soul
Statements
From
The
Heart
That's
Real
Art
Thank you Krishnali
