We all at present claim to be devotees of different levels .It is told by Krishna that "manusyanam sahasresu (B.gita 7.3)hardly one knows me in truth.So before knowing Krishna ,we all were in a very bad condition .After so much of transformation, very slowly we have come to the stage of Krishna consciousness.These transformations in our consciousness takes place little by little in every birth .But when serving a cow these transformations are accelerated fast.In practical life we have noticed that any person in the mode of ignorance ,develops to the mode of goodness ,when he serves a cow continously for 3 yrs .And ofcourse he is benefitted that he gets a good spiritual master and takes to krishna consciuosnes soon.His ability to understand improves very fast.
He practices cleanliness,punctuality,love ,tolerance and all other things.
According to vedic system it is said that in olden days ,every child has to go and rear the cows before they start their education at school or gurukula. so they learn many things practically and they improve their capacity to concentrate on many cows simultaniuosly.The efficiency in ,discrimination,observation ,is improved at a larger scale than that we get out of the present education.
Krishna also went to rear the cows in the forest .He gives that much importance to the cows that His abode is named
Goloka Vrndavan.
Now there are many people discussing about cow protection .But they are always in the discussion level only ,they dont want to come forward and do something practically,because they are not aware of the importance of serving cow.This humble self is trying to share my knowledge regarding the importance of serving the cow ,so that all others may be benefitted by serving the cow .I shall give you some quotations from Padma purana next time .
