Devotional service to the cows comes in many forms prabhu...
for example, so many of us who are members of Krishna.com "connect" are making donations of all the money we have to support these forums.
That support then allows you to be able to tell everyone about supporting cows.
If we removed our support from Krishna.com, (and gave it to your cow protection program instead) then how would anyone be able to hear about supporting cows (or any other Krishna conscious thing for that matter)???
So, don't you think that a donation to Krishna.com is also supporting your cow protection program?
I feel I am helping to support your cow protection program by helping to support the format you are using to promote it and gather donations.
Wouldn't you agree that's important and helpful? Isn't that service to the cows?
(since you posted a message in my guest book asking me to tell you if I took cow protection seriously or not, and I told you I would discuss it with you in the forums, that's why I am saying this here)

You are right mataji, My intention in writing is to find out people who are having enough funds to support both.As you explained your thinking ,I am happy that you responded.when someone responds I am more happy because I am able to know them and that is the aim of communication.but there are people who dont give a response.Just like we go door to door for preaching, i have to contact each and every person to find out people who will support this to stop Cow slaughter.I am sure there are many people interested to support this .But we dont know where they are . As Prabhupad says that some points are repeated so many times ,in some topics .That is to show that it is so important and to stress that point . In the same way this humble self is also sometimes repeating ,please take it only in a sense that we are so much anxious to do this project to stop cow slaughter.We are really mad after this .So If anything has hurted your mind even slightly please for give me .Let all your words be made inspiring for me to complete this project by the mercy of you and Krishna.

I agree, the worst thing is when people don't reply at all.... actually someone commented to me, that if I was not able to support (directly) your cow protection program, then why had I posted this comment at all?
Like I told them, I felt I owed you at least a response to your inquiry. So, I replied. What you are doing is very nice devotional service, and I realize it is very hard to gather funds. So, I wanted to at least tell you how I was feeling at present about it.
I truly admire the work you are doing. I hope in the future I may be able to contribute to it.
In an effort to help you further (as I think these public forum discussions about your project do, since they certainly will call attention to what you are doing and make others think more about it) I would like to suggest something that I think would help.
If you were to post some information, such as statements showing how the funds are used, and maybe some photos of the cows, and an outline of the project, I think it would be helpful.
The more information people have, photos, statements about how the funds are used, etc... the more involved they will tend to get.
I know when I was requested to make a contribution for Food For Life in Mayapur last year, I felt overwhelmed.... I had no idea the scope of the project or how much money would do what, etc... and they sent me photos of the the boats taking the kirtan and Prasadam around, and a list of all the things my donation could by, such as "this many dollars equals one pot of kitri for a month" like that....
I know you say "please send $15.00 a month" but if we could see the actual cows, and what the $15.00 goes exactly to pay for, it helps.
Those are just some further suggestions of course it's up to you, but I am trying to do what I can to help (since I cannot help with funds at the moment).
Thank you again for telling me you appreciated my reply, I had felt afraid I might have offended you, and I should not have said anything after someone told me they thought that way... so I was unsure....

Hare Krishna Mataji, Thank you very much ,there is nothing to get frightened .I am just a fallen soul mataji ,just waiting for some devotees causeless mercy.I would like to know whether i am offending you and others or irritating all simply by asking help .Actually there is no other way .I have to some how ask and contact all for help .I know in this way i may be troubling all .for that i ask an apology in advance to all .Thats what I can do .I always take everything in a positive way .My vision is that no devotee will do harm to me .If it appears harm to me then i might have done some thing in my past life so that i get this result .The details and photos are in my website
